Due to the current traffic situation in the Metro, customized vehicles are quickly becoming a trend for those people who have the means to afford it. It is indeed an investment to have a car that can provide comfort and relaxation in such cases. One of the worst thing a working individual can experience is spending hours on road doing nothing but to wait and slowly get from one point to another.
In recent years, we have heard a handful of celebrities having their cars and vans rebuilt and customized to make it comfortable and add a few amenities in helping pass the time. Personalities like Yassi Pressman, Vice Ganda and Team Kramer have all their vehicles transformed into something more "Manila-proof", courtesy of one of the leading car customizer in the Philippines, Atoy Customs. One of the most recent client they have cater for yet another breath taking customization is non other than the "Chinita Princess" herself, Kim Chiu.
The Kapamilya singer and actress have been in the showbiz industry since 2006 after being hailed as the grand winner of the teen edition of the reality television show, Pinoy Big Brother. Due to her prolific career the 29 year old Chiu has managed to invest in a number of properties, particularly a nice beautiful new home for her family. As for the actress herself, she was able to save up to have her van undergo a stunning overhaul.
Her Hyundai H350 has been converted into what Kim considers now as a "mini home". After it's customization, the vehicle now has a few nice addons such as a bed, a mini table, a dresser with a ligh up mirror, a closet and of course a television. According to Kim's own words, her van is now some sort of "very, very small space of condominium." Due to the nature of her work as an actress, her new ride would not only serve as a comfortable means of transportation but also a place where she could relax in between sets.
