Christmas is coming and it's the season for giving. Philippines has the longest Christmas celebration in the world because of the culture what we call "Ber Months" where we put up our bright decorations starting by the month of September.
Santa Claus, of course, is known by everyone who travels from house to house giving children gifts for Christmas.
Recently, the people in Bohol had their early own "Santa Claus." It is after a random guy gives money to the citizens without any exchange. The guy drives around the area and randomly giving people blue bills including street childen that sells along the streets.
In particular, one of the luckiest was Tatay Avelino who received 20,000 pesos. On October 1, the "Santa Claus" guy saw Tatay Avelino riding his bicycle and collecting scraps from the streets, he approached it and had a little chitchat with the old man. Days later, the mystery guy searched for Tatay and gave him the money.
Tatay Avelino is a 60 year old man who lives in a tiny nippa hut. He collects scraps from the streets and sells it to junkshops as a living where he earns 50 to 100 pesos that touched the heart of the mystery guy so he decided to give him a simple gift by giving him the money. He also visited Tatay Avelino and surprised it with a cake for the advance celebration of Tatay's birthday.



The guy behind this is an American Youtuber named Brian who vlogs with his family. According to him, they use their earnings to help those in needs and vlog with a cause. Brian settled down with a Filipinas who lives in Bohol that paved the way of spreading their blessings around the area.
Many netizens were touched on what the youtuber did and praised him for doing such thing considering that he is a pure American but he is marvelous to our fellow Filipinos.
