After being caught in the hottest family feud of Philippine showbiz, this might be the time to see the other side of one of the Barretto sisters, Claudine.
Francine Diaz, one of the leading stars in the hit Kapamilya Gold series Kadenang Ginto, just received a special gift from the Optimum Star Claudine Barretto.
On her Instagram, former actress Bianca Lapus shared a video of Claudine Barretto handing a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes to Francine.
According to Lapus, it was the same shoes that the 40-year-old actress wore at her recent photoshoot for Metro Magazine.
"We visited @claubarretto late last night after @francinesdiaz attended the ABSCBN trade launch even though it was late already when i told her and her sisters and mom that Clau really wanted to meet chin, they immediately said yes bilang favorite nila si Clau and her movie #Anak and to our surprise nag handa talaga si clau ng food and eto na nga ang biggest surprise of all.... My very sweet and generous besty, out of nowhere asked Chin her shoe size and said ok wait.... pagbalik (sayang diko navideo yun kasi maski ako nagulat haha.) while clau was walking towards us i remembered those shoes! those are the #LOUBOUTIN pair she used for her recent metro mag shoot bagong bago at walang kaabog abog binigay kay Chin. It may be a small thing to others but the kind gesture Claudine did for a well deserved rising star like Francine and for her to take time out to visit just to make clau smile is such a precious moment. Sana makapag work sila soon," Lapus wrote on her Instagram.
Sharing how Francine made the Optimum Star happy, Bianca said that she hopes that the two celebrities could work on a project soon.
Francine Carrel Saenz Diaz or also known as Francine Diaz, 15, plays the protagonist role as Cassie Mondragon in the long time hit teleserye, Kadenang Ginto. Along with co-stars, Kyle Echarri, Andrea Brillantes, Dimples Romana and former PBB housemate, Beauty Gonzalez.
This role was considered as her big break in her showbiz career. Unknown to many, Francine came from a poor family. During her guesting in morning talkshow, Magandang Buhay, Francine shared her humble story where she thanked one of Magandang Buhay host, Melai Cantiveros.
Melai and Francine used to work together in We Will Survive. Francince shared that she brings home the food from their set for her family and one of the most unforgettable moment was that Francine and her family almost live in the street because they wasn't able to pay their house rent even their electricity and water bill. That's where Melai helped Francine. The teen star expresses her feelings how thankful she is to the host for helping her and her family.
Francine is now the breadwinner of their family. Soon, she will have another project with Kyle Echarri in an upcoming iWant Original movie titled Silly Red Shoes.
