A stunt is an unusual and difficult physical feat or an act requiring a special skill. It is performed for artistic purposes which is mostly done on television, theaters, or cinema. To avoid any unecessary harm for the lead actors and actresses, most production crew hires stuntmen or stunt doubles who are professional trained to perform such actions. They would normally use gears and equipments like safety harness to reduce the risk of injury while performing a stunt.
Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin once again made abuzz online after doing, yet again, another daring stunt for her tv series, The General's Daughter. The risky feat was captured on video and shortly became viral after being posted on social media. The 34 year old actress was seen hanging in the back on a moving truck. If that wasn't dangerous enough, Angel did the action without using any kind of safety harness to make the scene more believable. The breath taking sequence, although praised by many netizens, also got a lot of Angel's fans and followers worried.
Locsin currently plays the role lieutenant Rhian Bonifacio in the ongoing ABS-CBN television series “The General’s Daughter". According to source, the program is already on its few final weeks and the rest of the crew are currently firmly focused to give the show a spectacular finale. For the record, this isn't the first time Angel did a stunt for the series.
Last March, the actress performed an even more riskier action where she hung from underneath of a moving truck. And just last May, she rappeled her way down from a building as a part of launching her plan in bringing her adoptive father Tiago Guerrero, played by Tirso Cruz III, to authorities. In all of her stunts, Angel refused to have a stunt double, showing her exemplary dedication to the show and its audience.
