It was indeed a star studded night when various artists and talents of ABS CBN gathered together and attended the recently held ABS CBN Ball 2019. The event took place last Saturday, September 14 at the Shangri-La At The Fort in Bonifacio Global Taguig City. For this year's celebration, many of our famous and well beloved Kapamilya artists lighted up the red carpet with their chosen traditional Filipiniana attire.
Power celebrity couple Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo did not fail to amazes everyone with their selected dress for the event. Bernardo was a definite head turner as she wore a fuschia pink terno with a indigenous print design in the middle which was made by non other the the famous Dubai-based Filipino designer, Michael Cinco.
Padilla on the other hand had a simple yet stylish barong coupled with a blue patterned suit. Daniel's suit may look like a conventional apparel at first but to the surprise of many and in accordance of the event's chosen theme, the material used for the suit is actually made out of of Benguet fabric.
Just like his tradition from the previous years, the Teen King made their fans and followers to gush over after he surprised his girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo with a big bouquet of roses. The color of the flowers of course perfectly matches the Teen Queen's gown. Daniel gave her surprise gift to Kathryn just before they head on to the red carpet.
Another moment that sent their fans into a romantic frenzy was when Padilla, in a true gentleman's manner, offered and gave his suit to cover up Kathryn. The 23 year old actress was shown wearing a cropped top later that evening exposing her belly as the couple had a small chat with other fellow Kapamilya stars. Daniel did not seem to mind how he look in his sandos as long as Kathryn stayed warm inside his blazers. The short yet sweet video clip was uploaded in social media by the couple's close friend, Pamu Pamorada.
