Fans were ecstatic after pictures of premier actor John Lloyd Cruz together with his perennial love team Bea Alonzo surfaces last Saturday, September 21. The two were spotted together at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Makati. According to source, Cruz and Alonzo were in attendance of the musical theater adaptation of 1982 critically acclaimed movie, Himala.
Veteran entertaintment columnist and talent manager Noel Ferrer shared the photos online where in the 36 year old actor can be seen seating side by side with Bea. It was never stated though if John Lloyd came with 31 year old actress together or separately.
The 1982 movie and it's stage play adaptation, Himala: Isang Musikal was both written by veteran screenplay writer Ricardo "Ricky" Lee. The shows was for the benefit of the members of Lee's scriptwriting class in which Alonzo is currently a student. It would be mostly likely that the actress was the one who invited John Lloyd to watch the play. Other celebrities that were spotted in attendance were Agot Isidro and Cherie Gil.
John Lloyd and Bea were last seen together in El Nido as they worked on a rumored project that was yet to be confirmed. Many cannot help but wonder if Cruz and Alonzo recently being together was just a coincidence considering that both their individual love lives seemed to fell apart almost at the same time. It was in 2016 when the love team was rumored to be romantically involved with each other which they later denied.
John Lloyd and Bea then went to pursue a relationship with different people later that year; Cruz to Ellen Adarna and Alonzo getting back together with Gerald Anderson. This year, it was reported that John Lloyd has already broken up with Adarna in August while Bea called it quits with Anderson after the latter was rumored to be courting Julia Barreto.
