The daily traffic in the Metro has been an issue for every Filipino commuter for several years now. No one is safe when it comes to being stuck for hours in the long line of vehicles especially in EDSA. It is one of the main reason why many local celebrities, for the past few months, have sought the help to professionally customize their cars to make the travel especially during rush hours a little bit bearable and comfortable.
One of the latest celebrity to join the trend is multi awarded actor John Arcilla. He recently shared images of his new and fresh investment: a customized Toyota Tourer van that is basically a mini spa on wheels. The vehicle which originally had a 14 seat capacity has been converted to have comfortable seats good for 12 people. And although the van's total capacity has been reduced, the new design provides more and better space for the passangers to move around, not to mention that a portion of it can be completely transformed into a couch.
To complete the mini spa vibe, John had also added a fully functioning massage chair complete with table and an entertainment system. The original carpet was also changed to be water resistant just incase of unexpected liquid spills or stains. According to the 53 year old actor, he describe the newly furnished vehicle as the best gift to himself for this year as of the moment.
Beside acting, John has already ventured into hotel business as he recently had his bed-and-breakfast venture blessed in a simple and intimate ceremony. His guest house is located at one of the recent emerging tourist spots in the country, El Nido, Palawan. John named the place Casa Heneral in reference to his critically acclaimed and financially successful 2015 movie, Heneral Luna.
