Multi awarded celebrity and artist Gary Valenciano did not stayed silent after a false news claiming that his son Gab Valenciano took his own life inside their house in San Juan spread like wildfire on social media. The 55 year old singer-songwriter and dancer use his Instagram account to warn his fans, followers and public in general about the fake news surrounding his second child.
"ALERT: This news is going around now. THERE IS NO TRUTH TO ANY OF THIS!!!"
"Please do not believe such news immediately!!! God bless us all!"
Gary's post also included an image of the said fake article. The news may actually appear legitimate at first considering that the thumbnail used was made of a screenshot from famous news program TV Patrol where a picture of Gab was included.
Mr. Pure Energy also stressed out that news was not from ABS-CBN News, stating that the program could be well as victim as his son.
"This isn’t the fault of ABSCBN NEWS. It looks like even they were a victim of this."

"A news clip about another issue was used and Gab’s face was simply added on to the clip."
According to source, the Youtube channel that goes by a certain name of 24 News allegedly published the fake news and video. It also turned out that the same channel was using clips and footage from other authorized news outlets in propagating several fake news and announcements.
The false article seem to surfaced after Gab Valenciano himself recently admitted his past attempts of taking his own life. His timely revelation was in lieu as the country observed the World Suicide Prevention day last September 10. Earlier this year, the younger Valenciano shared his bout with depression which he considered to be “darkest and most painful time” of his life and how he conquer it through the help of his family and friends.
Gary V. then shared another entry in his Instagram yesterday, September 19, where in he posted a picture of him together with Gab, who looks so alive and well, as they had dinner together with his grandchild, Leia. He also reminded everyone particularly his fans and followers to be cautious and not to believe immediately on such kind of news.
