Ruffa Gutierrez was the contemporary of Gretchen Barretto in Philippine Showbiz during 1980's.
They were involved as considered one of the most biggest scandal during the 1994 Manila Film Festival. It was after Manager Lolit Solis manipulated the results of the best actress and best actor.
Ruffa Gutierrez and Gabby Concepcion were announced as the winners of the awards instead of Aiko Melendez and Edu Manzano by its leading host 1993 Miss Mauritius Viveka Babajee. Together with Babaejee was Gretchen the brother of Ruffa, Rocky Gutierrez. The announcement leave Gretchen in shock as seen on the camera.
An investigation was held in the incident and Gretchen became the star witness. Later on, Ruffa and Gabby returned the awards.
With history, Gretchen recently slams Ruffa on her Instagram story showing the screenshot of Ruffa's comment saying, "Freshhhhhh" over Julia Barretto's uploaded photo on her Instagram account.
"Sawsaw pa more Ruffy! Take it take it," Gretchen wrote.
The netizens are reacting over Gretchen's straigtforward move to Gutierrez.
