Chacha Cañete or Trisha Louise Cañete in real life rose to prominence back in 2007. She starred as that cute little kid from the famous Camella Homes television commercial.
Her very adorable character as the Bulilit Kid was well received by the audience. Coupled with a seriously catchy jingle song, her commercial, although very short, made a lasting impression to many Filipinos.
According to source, she was first discovered by talent manager and renown film director Erik Matti inside a coffee shop at the ABS-CBN compound. Chacha was four years old that time.
After Chacha's initial success as a commercial model, she went to be a part of the now defunct children's sketch comedy show Goin' Bulilit from 2009 to 2015.
From that point forward, her television appearance started to decline as Chacha shifted her focus to her studies. She finished her grade school at Diliman Preparatory School with flying colors.
Even without camera exposure, Chacha retained her popularity due to her acadamedic excellence and achievements and her talent in singing.
Cañete and team bagged the second place at the Radio Broadcasting & Scriptwriting category of Department of Education NCR level’s 37th Division Young Writers Contest in 2016. She also won the title for the Best Anchor on that same event.
The following year, 2017, the former Bulilit Kid stunned everyone as she appeared and performed a song for the radio station Wish 107.5. Her live performance video of "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten was later uploaded in the video-sharing website Youtube.
Chacha's cover of the song earned her the 8th spot of YouTube PH's trends that same year. Looking back, the once cute little bulilit kid has now grown into a beautiful and talented teenage girl.
