Getting married or being engage is totally a whole new level of excitement. Almost of us, if so, will be proud and overjoyed to share it to everyone how loved and happy you are as you are walking to the next chapter of your life.
Celebrities, when getting engage or married, they usually announce it to the public or social media because it becomes 'normal' for doing such due to the nature of their career or simply, they are just proud.
While most of the newly engaged couples throw parties, Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo broke this concept and has their own way, they kept it super 'low key.' This 'secret engagement' of the two were first revealed by the actor's younger brother, Paolo Guidicelli, who posted on Instagram photo of them three together with a caption of "Congratulations" and a ring emoji tagging the two celebrities.
On his Instagram story, Paolo also uploaded a screenshot of the photo of the couple posted by Matteo with a caption, "Congrats. They were engaged for year now. It was just a secret." Followed by another story, "Nobody found out (ring emoji) HAHAHAHA."
The alleged engagement became more visible because of Matteo's Instagaram post uploaded yesterday, November 7. The actor uploaded photos of them smiling at each other and Sarah jokingly choking the actor. It was also seen the big diamong ring on the singer's left hand. Matteo uploaded it with the caption, "I love you my love, now and forever" with a heart emoji.
The netizens concluded that the actor is giving a hint because of his caption. Later on, this was confirmed on ABS-CBN TV Patrol because the two admitted that they are already engaged.
Matteo's Instagram post were flooded by 'congrats' messages by their fellow celebs and fellow singers of Sarah. Their fans also extends how happy their heart is because they are shipping the two for so long.
Vina Morales, Gab Valenciano, Angel Locsin, Maris Racal, Rayver Cruz, Darren Espanto, Karla Estrada, Martin Nievera, Miles Ocampo, Bea Alonzo, Alex Gonzaga and Dimples Romana are just some of the celebs who commented on their happy photos.
Guidicelli and Geronimo celebrated their 6th year anniversary together in a vaccation in Bali, Indonesia last month.
In addition, their fans speculated that the actor will be proposing to the singer-actress during their vaccation. As of this writing, Sarah has no post about their engagement but it is not surprising because the actress doesn't usually posts on her social media accounts, living her life 'low key.'
Last September, Sarah went to the bridal shower of Matteo's younger sister, Giorgia Guidicelli who made Sarah as her maid of honor on their soon wedding day that will be on December this year.
In an interview, Matteo metioned that "sana" they will end on a happy marriage.
"Sana, 'no? Twenty-nine years old na ako. Let's see."
June 19, 2014 when Sarah finally admitted that they were officially in a relationship during her guesting on Aquino and Abunda Tonight.
Months before her revelation, the two were issued being in a relationship because they were repeatedly spotted in public holding hands.
The two are on the right age and they are capable of getting married so there are no reasons for them to hide the truth. Truly, we are happy with this news.
